I've been buying Asportuguesas for many years and a number of them from German Slippers. I have very wide feet and hammer toes and, overall, these shoes work for me. This particular pair feels a bit more narrow toward the front of the shoe, on the sides of the base of my toes. I know they'll eventually stretch out but I fear they'll possible wear out (holes) when they're starting a bit tight like this pair. Still, I love the boiled wool and hybrid-cork soles. Great all year round.

I admit I use them as shoes. They are comfortable and the wool has formed perfectly around my foot making it a custom fit.
I choose natural fibers over synthetic as much as I can making these shies a great choice for myriad reasons.

I use either 37s or 38s and I chose 37 for these and the wool fits snugly around my feet - a perfect fit. They are comfy and breathable and pop in style. What's not to love?

The slippers worked out well except for the fact that they were not the color I ordered: I wanted them in taupe, but the ones that arrived were beige.
