Acceptance of Terms

This is an agreement between BEQUEMSCHUH-VERSAND, ("Company"), the owner and operator of www.German-Slippers.com (the "Site"), and you ("you" or "You"), a user of the Site. By using the Site you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions of Use and the Privacy Policy, which can be found here and is incorporated by reference. We hereby grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable and non-exclusive license to access and use the Site by displaying it on your internet browser only for the purpose of shopping for personal items sold on the Site. If you choose to not agree with any of these Terms, you may not use the Site. The Company reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change these Terms and Conditions of Use ("Updated Terms") from time to time. Unless the Company makes a change for legal or administrative reasons, the Company will provide reasonable advance notice before the Updated Terms become effective. You agree that the Company may notify you of the Updated Terms by posting them on the Site. Your use of the Site after the effective date of the Updated Terms constitutes your agreement to the Updated Terms. You should review these Terms and Conditions of Use and any Updated Terms before using the Site. The Updated Terms will be effective as of the time of posting, or such later date as may be specified in the Updated Terms, and will apply to your use of the Site from that point forward.

Terms of Sale and Payment

By placing an order you are offering to purchase a product on and subject to the following terms and conditions. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price. Dispatch times may vary according to availability and subject to any delays resulting from postal delays or force majeure for which we will not be responsible. In order to contract with the Company you must be over 18 years of age and possess a valid credit card or PayPal Account. The company retains the right to refuse any request made by you. If your order is accepted we will inform you by email. Where a contract is made with a third party the company is not acting as either agent or principal and the contract is made between yourself and that third party and will be subject to the terms of sale which they supply you. When placing an order you undertake that all details you provide to us are true and accurate, that you are an authorized user of the credit card or PayPal Account used to place your order and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods. The cost of our products and services may fluctuate. All prices advertised are, due to and dependant on the relationship of the Euro and US Dollar, subject to such changes.

Please note: The minimum order value is $29.

(a) Our Contract

When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement e-mail confirming receipt of your order: this email will only be an acknowledgement and will not constitute acceptance of your order. A contract between us will not be formed until we send you confirmation by e-mail that the goods which you ordered have been dispatched to you. Only those goods listed in the confirmation e-mail sent at the time of dispatch will be included in the contract formed.

(b) Pricing and Availability

Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on this Website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund. Delivery costs will be charged in addition; such additional charges are clearly displayed where applicable and included in the 'Total Cost'.

(c) Payment

The money received upon the debiting of your PayPal account or Credit Card shall be treated as a deposit against the value of the goods you wish to purchase. Once the goods have been despatched and you have been sent a confirmation email the money paid as a deposit shall be used as consideration for the value of goods you have purchased as listed in the confirmation email. Should you chose to pay by Credit Card, you have to enter your Credit Card number, the date of validity or expiration and the 3-digit security code. The code warranties security of online payments and should be located on the backside of your Credit Card. Money will be deducted from your accounts on the day of your order. Your payment information is and will not be stored by German-Slippers. Later Credit Card payment by phone or email is not possible once an order is concluded.

(d) Refunds

Refunds can and will only occur by the same method of payment chosen by yourself prior to your purchase. Money will either be refunded to your Paypal or Credit Card account respectively. Please note that any shipping costs that arise when placing an order are not refunded by us. A restocking fee may also be charged, whether for an exchange or return of order.

Reviews

The ratings were validated as follows: Customers receive a link to rate the products. This is an individualized link that is only given to consumers who have actually purchased the goods or services from us.

Terms of Delivery

You, the customer, are the importer of record and will be responsible for all levies, duties, import fees, taxes and other charge. German-Slippers strongly suggests that you check with your local government agency to determine the extent of such charges. Alternatively, you can use our Duty & Tax Calculator, a third party software that helps you figuring out customs and taxes.

Refusal & Abandonnment

German-Slippers can not issue credit or reimburse you for shippments that are refused, abandoned or not retrieved from customs. You will be charged for any unpaid customs, duties and taxes as well as return shipping costs.

Tracking

Tracking is always included. You will receive an email including a tracking number that allows you to trace the steps of your delivery.
In the case of extensive orders, we may divide your order into several partial shipments. In this case, you will receive a separate confirmation email with a tracking number for each partial shipment.

Duration

The duration of your shippment mostly depends on your location and circumstances outside our influence. Generally, shippments are prepared by our staff within German business hours (8 AM – 5 PM) exclusively. On occasion, this process can take between 1-3 workdays.

Taxes And Import Duties

There are no German taxes that are not already paid by us and subtracted from the price you pay at checkout. You, the customer, will be responsible for any additional customs handling fees, duties and/or taxes. Each country we ship to has different regulations and might levy fees that are subject to changes on a regular basis. Your local post/customs office can provide you with the neccessary information.

Country Blacklist

We do not deliver to countries that are part of the EU or EU customs zone. We also do not deliver to European overseas teritories or countries that are embargoed by the European Union or Germany in particular. We do not sell to individuals that are on any international blacklist.

Terms and Conditions of Returns

You have a right of return within two weeks from receiption of the goods. Please note, we can only accept a return of your goods if they are in a perfect condition. The return has to arrive in the original manufacturers box which needs to be undamaged.

There are multiple ways to return goods you're not satisfied with:

You may revoke the contract of sale and return the goods for a refund of your money. Any costs incurred by the return shipment, be they duties, taxes or other fees, must in this case be paid by you (the customer). The merchandise must be without signs of wear and tear (fitting is allowed) to qualify for a refund. Please note that any shipping costs that arise when placing an order are not refunded by us. A restocking fee may also be charged, whether for an exchange or return of order.

Promotions

We reserve the right to exclude customers from certain promotions if we suspect misuse or fraudulent behavior. In case of cashback promotions (customer x shops gratis) only two orders per customer can be valid. Refundable order amounts are limited to $500.

For promotions in general the following rules apply: The rules for promotions are explained in the respective promotions. We reserve the right to make changes and exclude abusive conduct at any time. There is no entitlement to certain promotions, discounts or special prices. It is not possible to combine several discounts. All BIRKENSTOCK® and Giesswein items have a maximum discount of 10%! Discounts can not be stacked. Only one discount at a time will be valid.

Product Information

German-Slippers makes all efforts to display the products listed for sale on its web site as accurately as possible. However, the colors in use, as well as the display and color capabilities of your computer monitor, will affect the colors that you actually see on your screen. German-Slippers cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any product color, texture or detail will be accurate. In addition, German-Slippers does not warrant that product descriptions or other content are accurate, complete, reliable current or error free. If a product offered by German-Slippers is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition.

You may not engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

The Executive waives any right the Executive may have to transfer or change the venue of any litigation brought against the Executive by the Company.

Entire Agreement

The above Terms and Conditions of Use constitute the entire agreement of the parties and supersede any and all preceding and contemporaneous agreements between you and www.German-Slippers.com. Any waiver of any provision of the Terms and Conditions of Use will be effective only if in writing and signed by the Owner.
