Upper material: This German "Hüttenschuh" is shaped like a boot and therefore fully encloses your foot. The upper is made of 100% boiled wool and the inside lining is made of wool felt. Both will cuddle your feet, keep them warm and keep moisture and sweat away.
Sole & footbed: Perfect insulation against cold due to the soft double felt outsole, which also allows quiet steps. The sole is covered with a slip resistant latex layer.

Slipper boots....first time I tried these

Nice and warm but I will stick with other styles after this
They are very warm, but there is a seam on top which is irritating to the top of my foot. The other styles I have gotten are shaped without any seam. Also, the inner sole is very loosely felted and as I walk around the house, friction rubs the fibers together and makes little wool lumps that I have to remove. (This happens with other slippers, and with the socks and slippers I knit myself, but much much less.)
I would recommend them to others, but with caveats. I will continue to get boiled wool slippers in varied styles but I won't get this specific style again.
