Upper material: A soft and comfortable wool felt has been used for the upper of this magnificent clog. The sturdiness ensures durability and insulation, while retaining breathability and softness for your feet, leaving a comfortable foot climate inside.
Sole & footbed: The wonderfully comfortable, anatomically shaped cork footbed provides revitalizing support with every step and is easy to replace and exchange. Featuring a slip-resistant rubber sole which allows a walk outside.
Please note: The supplied comfort footbed is very extensive and correspondingly thick, which is why it is not optimally suited to be exchanged for thin insoles. Compared to other models from the 'Grizzly' serie, (such as 'Torben' and 'Franzl'), the 'Michel' has a slightly wider fit and is thus perfect for people for whom the usual clogs were a little too narrow.

Beautiful, but...
The shoes/slippers are gorgeous, high quality. My issue is with the removable arch supports. I used to make custom shoes and arch supports, so I'm not just a know it all. The arch supports are stiff, cork and latex. They are way too thick in the arches. I have pretty high arches, so I broke these in gradually, but they still hurt after an hour or less! I know they can be modified, but I have already paid a lot for these, and adjustments on top of it would be close $200.00+. I feel they could send another removable arch support of softer materials to me at no cost. Otherwise these are useless. I would appreciate a response and help.
I wear a size 9 1/2 women's and I think the 9 would have been sufficient, 10 is a bit longer, but works. I hope this helps.
