Upper material: 100% natural wool felt serves as upper material. It provides snug warmth without making your feet overheat, as wool inherently has a breathable effect. By wicking moisture & excess heat away from your feet, it always succeeds in preserving a well-balanced atmmosphere inside the shoes, even when wearing them for multiple hours in a row. Despite being very hard-wearing & shape-retaining, it also feels pleasantly soft even on bare skin. Beyond that, felted wool is also very easy to care for: not only is it naturally dirt-repellent in the first place, soilings can just easily be cleaned using a moistened cloth.

Fitting: We recommend choosing the Taiga one size larger than usual. Due to the closed heel area & ankle-high shape, the Taiga offers a very stable hold on the foot. In order for it to be easy to put on despite the closed shape, there is an elastic rubber band worked into the area above the instep. It allows you to easily stretch the entry zone when putting the shoes on, while also generally adapting to your foot's shape when wearing them. Thus, the model offers very high stability without annoying pressure points. There's also a loop attached to the heel as another donning aid.

Footbed: These slippers contain very soft felt insoles, which can also be taken out by hand to be replaced for your own custom orthotics, if need be. They gently padden each of your steps, resulting in heavenly soft wearing comfort that is maintained even after prolonged wear.

Sole: The outer sole is made of all-natural rubber without any crude oil. It is lightweight & flexible, yet sturdy and water-repellent. Thus, it allows for very natural, unhindered foot motions, but can also be worn outdoors without hesitation. In fact, the WoolFit® Taiga is also highly suitable to be used as a regular leisure time shoe due to its outdoor capabilities & the stylish design.
