The Taiga is a modern approach to create the perfect home slipper boots

Fitting: We recommend choosing the Taiga one size larger than usual. Due to the closed heel area & ankle-high shape, the Taiga offers a very stable hold on the foot. In order for it to be easy to put on despite the closed shape, there is an elastic rubber band worked into the area above the instep. It allows you to easily stretch the entry zone when putting the shoes on, while also generally adapting to your foot's shape when wearing them. Thus, the model offers very high stability without annoying pressure points. There's also a loop attached to the heel as another donning aid.

Design: Two worlds combined - The design is inspired by Native American's mocassins, paired with the spirit of German Slippers tradition. We produce the brand WoolFit ourselves and want to celebrate our US customers with this special edition slipper model. The vegetably tanned luxurious leather outsole makes these shoes the perfect home slippers as they not only provide good grip on any surface, but are also very floor-friendly and quiet white walking.

Where are they produced? Our WoolFit Taiga are produced fairly in a female-owned manufacturing facility in Kyrgyzstan, which produces our shoes with sustainable, regional materials only. The wool is sourced regionally and provided by small-businnes shepherds in the Himalayan mountains.
