Sustainable Sheepskin with a Clear Conscience: When Lammbock founders Sven and Benjamin realized how difficult it is to find sheepskin slippers that are NOT made in China, they sought out an alternative.
The Goal: To produce high-quality sheepskin slippers that steer clear of mass production and come from ethically-raised animals.

After a long search, they found a perfect solution in Kyrgyzstan, a country where sheep outnumber people. This former nomadic culture still practices traditional sheep farming, where animals spend most of the year grazing on vast pastures. This type of farming is not only more humane but also much more resource-efficient in terms of feed and water. Thanks to Kyrgyzstan's cold continental climate, the sheep, and thus their wool, are highly resistant to the cold.

In Kyrgyzstan, they discovered a small family-run business, where three generations of the family have been processing sheepskin into slippers for over 25 years.

About the Slipper: These high-quality sheepskin slippers are on par with larger brands. The thick EVA sole, which provides excellent insulation against cold floors, offers significantly better grip than comparable slippers and performed exceptionally well in our tests. The fit is snug, and despite the thick sheepskin lining, your foot won't feel restricted. Therefore, unlike usual sizing recommendations, we suggest ordering the Woolson slipper in your regular size. As is typical with sheepskin, the material will compress slightly after a few wears, so it can feel snug at first but will soon adjust to your foot without compromising comfort.
